We loved Leon's corny jokes and agree he was the best dobro player we've been privileged to hear. Loved when he would come to Pearl to jam with all the talented players there. He will be missed.

Leon, A friend to everyone, a respectful and gentle man, a wonderful musician, most of all because he had the Holy Spirit to guide him through this life. Yes! Leon is now experiencing The Joy of Heaven ! See ya later Brother.

Leon Joplin. So many of us know that where there was music, there was always Leon Joplin. A kind and encouraging man. He will surely be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family for it is a great loss. He would always request that Heritage Harmony sing “The Joy of Heaven” for him. We always did and we know now he is experiencing that JOY firsthand.
