Dub was born August 29, 1939, in Fort Worth and graduated from North Side High School. He worked for 60 years in furniture and car sales. A favorite saying was “Thank you until you’re better paid.”
Dub was married to Donnie Darlene Boorman in Fort Worth on July 26, 1957; they were married 55 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther William O’Neal and Adrian Elon Justice-O’Neal.
Dub is survived by his wife; children, Ricky O’Neal, Donna Larson, Mark O’Neal and Brian O’Neal; sister, Wanda Shires; brother, Tommy O’Neal; and seven grandchildren.
