Carson graduated from Boyd High School in 1983.  He was a manager for Russell Feed in Sansom Park, and he took immense pride in working there.  All the customers and employees throughout Russell Feed Stores loved him.  He will be greatly missed by his customers, co-workers and many friends.  Carson loved the outdoors, going hunting and fishing with his family, and he was a huge dog lover. No matter if he knew you or not, he would help you.

He loved his family, but no one could compare for the love of his most loyal companion, his precious Chow, Sage.  She was his pride and joy, and she so loved him unconditionally. You knew who’s dog or “dawg”, as Jr would write.

If you ever looked at his Facebook, you could always see pictures of her or his sister’s dogs. Which being the prankster, he always got the last laugh on her.  She now has Sage and six three-week old chow puppies.  “I know he’s having a big laugh with that.”  He always had to come and get them. There was no stronger bond than he and Sage had.  He was so proud of his brothers and sister, his nieces, nephews, and his great-nieces and nephew.

“Jr” (Carson as many knew him) was the son of Carson and Anne Russell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, James Russell.

Survivors: He is survived by his Pride and Joy and loyal companion who loved him unconditionally and will be lost without him, his Chow, Sage;  brothers, David and his wife, Cathy Russell of Runaway Bay, Kenny and his wife, Teresa Russell of Ft Worth; his sister, Nancy Russell of Paradise, and Nanci Russell of Boyd; son, Cole Russell Fidler of Saginaw; nieces, RandiAnn Cowden, Michelle Smith, Megan Senter and Tara Snider;  nephewsn Kyle Russell and Scooter Tidwell;  great-nieces, Kennedi Kula, Rori Cowden, Shelby Smith Kylee Russell and Florence Senter; great-nephews, Boots Snider, Carson Smith, and Tyson Russell; a host of friends and cousins.
